The Written in the Stars series collection - Boxed set new Release!

It's release day for my next boxed set!

I debated whether or not to cancel this release, and unpublish all of these books, as well as some of my other new adult titles, because i was looking to redefine my brand. And i could go the complete YA route, or write just YA fantasy, but where's the fun in that? I am a firm believer in not censoring creativity, the muse, or stifling it, or putting it in one box. Besides, this series is one which makes my heart sing. Woman in the Photograph was born out of a dream, like most of my projects. It's my Nanowrimo passion project.

So i went back to the drawing board and thought about the types of stories i write. And It turns out, they all have a few things in common. Thanks to a couple of workshops I had taken, I listed what those things are.

- Young, strong, stubborn female protagonists

- Angst

- A hint of romance in every story

- Fast paced adventures

- Shorter books that get straight to the action

The Written in the Stars series is a new adult contemporary romance series with a hint of Hollywood. The boxed set includes the first five books, plus the two short stories.

Books 6 and 7 will be released in 2023.

The reason for that, is because I am currently working on two series at the same time, The Ebony Angel series, and The Summervale series, which will both be complete next year.

Going forward, I will be releasing less books per year, and less frequently. That's only so it's less stressful for me, and better for my mental health. Because let's be honest, this recent lockdown and pandemic has played havoc with my creative process. Has it with you? I've felt like quitting writing, because i've not wanted to write, and because i'd finished all of this year's work so i thought i could give myself a break.

But that has not been good for my mental health either.

The good news is my muse is back, and so is my love for this job. Because i guess i've also been thinking about other work and my life in general of late. Being an author is my dream job. And i am so thankful to be able to create stories not only for me, but for you, my readers.

The Written in the Stars Collection is out now everywhere you buy ebooks (except Google Play.). Paperback coming soon. You can get your copy here.
