The Dark and the Light - Release Day thoughts

As many of you may know, it's release day for my latest book.
And it wouldn't be release day without a blog post sharing my thoughts and random musings.

The writing of this book, The Chronicles of Light and Dark almost didn't happen. This book almost never got written. It was during the first draft that i lost two souls close to me - my beloved puddy tat Smokey, whom had been in our lives for almost 14 years, and my Nanna.
Smokey had the pleasure of knowing and growing up with 3 dogs and my family's lives now have a gaping black void in it. It's been 5 months to the day we had to say goodbye to our precious boy, who we nicknamed Prince Smokey, Momo and Yoghurt boy, among others. Hopefully soon we will introduce a new furry family member, when the time is right.

I don't want this post to be miserable. I want to relish in the fact that I'm nearly 28 and have published 19 stories.
I want to relish in the fact that this book has finally made it to the stores and your hands. It is out in the world and i couldn't be more proud.

But mostly anxious and a little nervous, because this book is a little piece of my soul and i chose to share it with you. I don't know if it's my best work to date. Some of you may beg to differ, but considering the hurdles i went through to bring this book to you, i am proud i made it this far.

I hope you enjoy my most recent release.

My next release probably won't be until feburary or march 2016 because i'll be taking a much needed holiday over Christmas and the new year and will get back to writing when i relaxed and refreshed.

So what can you expect next from me?

Feb/ March - Thirst

April/May - Third Eye

And my series of short story pieces for an Anthology where proceeds will go to helping animals in need. The anthology will be published sometime in the early new year. More info to come.

You can get your copy of The Chronicles of Light and Dark at the following retailers:

iBooks
Nook:

More paperback retailers coming in the next few weeks.

  1. I think you're an amazing author who draws strength from home situations. Losing a loved one - whether furry or human - is heartbreaking and their loss can never be fully filled and never replaced. I believe that the future will bring more awesome books from you as you go from strength to strength with your imaginations and skills as an author. Thank you for sharing you passions and expertise with us lowly mortals!
