Camelot is in trouble. Only they can save it.

Arynn Pendragon grew up on the Island of Avalon, isolated and dreaming of the colorful fires that burn on the mainland. Dragons protect the island, but the Knights have forbidden any other magic.

Arynn and her friend Malik yearn to discover the mysteries they’ve only heard about in whispers and forbidden books. When Malik gives her a way to escape the island, she takes it, even though she knows it means she can never return home.

What they discover on the mainland is more than she ever dreamed. Camelot is a world of magical creatures: magnificent dragons, elves, dwarves, and fairies who shrink when they take flight. But Camelot is in grave peril. King Arthur is missing, and in his place, Kay, the Regent, has waged war on magic. Arynn and Malik must rescue Arthur before Kay can destroy Camelot forever.

Experience the start of an Epic Fantasy saga suitable for all ages, which brings a fantasy twist to the legend of Camelot through Arthur's long-lost niece who must go on a quest to bring magic back.

Amy Bartelloni is a reader, writer, & coffee addict who lives with her husband, 3 children, and various animals in the northeast US. When she's not playing mom-taxi, you can find her with her nose in a book or her head in the clouds. A people watcher and science fiction junkie, she still believes dreams can come true. Some of her favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Jasper Fforde, Grady Hendrix, and Stephen King.  She's the author of the three book YA dystopian Andromeda series, YA sci/fi Gen One, and the three book YA Camelot fantasy Children of Camelot series, as well as contributing to several anthologies.

The whole thing was a bad idea.  She knew that, but they’d had bad ideas before.  Even their adventures climbing the mountain were – strictly speaking – forbidden, but if she followed all the rules, she’d never have seen the way the ocean unfurls all the way to the horizon, or the quiet silence of knowing the heart of a dragon.  Or the beauty of the lights twinkling across the mainland shore.  Though they raised more questions than they answered, she couldn’t imagine a life without such mystery.  No, Malik was right.  Whatever the cost, they had to pay.  Even if it meant never seeing her home again.
